Christina’s House is located at the centre of Asilah – a charming, seaside town on the North Atlantic coast, just 40 km from Tangier.
The medina, restaurants and beaches are just a 5 – 10 minute walk away.
The local hammam is next to the house – the perfect opportunity to try out the Moroccan public baths.
The taxi station is 10 minutes walk, the train station is 3 km away (10 minutes in a taxi) and the airport is a 40 minute drive.

How to find us
Christina’s House is located very close to the hammam jadid (new public baths), just off RUE 16 NOVEMBRE.
If you are arrive by train, bus, boat or plane, we can arrange a taxi to collect you. Alternatively, please call us on your arrival in Asilah and we will come and meet you in a central location.
Please note: we are not located in the Medina. Many locals do not know the road our property is on, so if you are asking for directions you should ask to be directed to the hammam jadid.
Getting to Asilah
From Tangier (city and old port)
Grand taxi is the easiest way to get to Asilah from Tangier (20 dh per person, shared- 6 passengers. 200 – 250 dh for a private taxi), however, train is also a convenient option. Buses are also available, but are slower and less reliable.
From Tangier Med
Grand taxi is the quickest option and costs about 700 dh. It’s also possible to take a shuttle bus to Tangier, and then taxi, train or bus from there.
From Tangier Airport
There are no bus services operating from the airport, so taxi is the only option, which costs 200 – 250 Dh (depending on drop-off location in Asilah).
From elsewhere
Train is generally considered as the most convenient way to travel around Morocco, followed by shared taxi. There are direct trains from all major cities, including Marrakech (9 hrs – night train with sleeper available), Rabat (3.5 hrs), Meknes (3.5hrs), Fes (4 hrs), Casablanca (4.5 hrs).
